Račice Castle has been an impressive landmark in Vyškov for centuries. However, its interiors have never been accessible to the public. Unless someone worked or studied in the castle, they could only imagine what the interiors looked like.
Over the years /, the castle has been used by various occupants, including the General Staff of the Czechoslovak Army, OP Prostějov, an elementary school, vocational training institute, and a children's home. Despite this, you will be pleasantly surprised by how much of the original decoration and older as well as newer furniture has been preserved and presented in an unusual and unique way.
You can look forward to a blend of the old and the new, with all the advantages and disadvantages that the use of the castle has brought over the past nine decades. We will show you how traditional spaces of a historical cultural monument appear when influenced by unconventional uses in the 20th and 21st centuries.
Whether you have visited the castle in the past three seasons or are planning to come to us for the first time, we promise new experiences in 2024!
During the Piano Nobile tour, you will find educational panels with visualizations of the castle, showcasing its appearance during different historical periods when the owners significantly changed its design.

The second tour, "Cellar Tour and the Castle's Economic Background," will introduce you to the cellar spaces carved into the rock, the historical heating technology of living rooms, and other interesting features.
